Dragon Elders

Only showing what’s been revealed up to your current progress. Future events, identities, and relationships are hidden.

Overview

The dragon elders are a group of dragons with authority over Andarna's safety while she remains in her unusually long adolescent Dreamless Sleep.

Book II · Ch. 29

The elders are the only ones Andarna says knew her true breed before she explains it to Violet, a hidden knowledge that helps account for why her unusual bond and den status were permitted.

Book II · Ch. 64

Structure and Leadership

During Threshing, Violet sees dragons gathered above Tairn on the mountain and assumes they are elders. Their presence is connected to possible Empyrean discussion, though Tairn does not tell Violet whether they are meeting to discuss the current situation.

Book II · Ch. 30

Relationships and Rivals

The elders revere Tairn, and Andarna says she wanted to be like him.

Book II · Ch. 64

Activities

The elders guard Andarna during her Dreamless Sleep, making them the named custodians of her safety while she is unable to protect herself.

Book II · Ch. 29

After Andarna wakes, the elders know about her wing complication and discuss it with Tairn. They believe she may be able to fly by strengthening existing muscles, but they have no precedent for a dragon remaining Dreamless as long as she did.
