Overview
Prince Drakon is a surviving leader from the ancient war who has spent five centuries hidden with Miryam on a secret island, where their peoples live together in peace.
A foreign Fae prince and veteran commander, he fielded an aerial army considered as strong as the Night Court's.
Drakon commands the Seraphim host from Cretea, whose apparent abandonment was maintained through a long-standing glamour.
By this stage, Drakon and Miryam are trusted to keep the Cauldron concealed in Cretea, though Rhys does not believe either of them can control it if its power awakens.
Relationships
The queen of the Black Land gave Miryam to Drakon as a wedding gift, but he was horrified by her enslavement and helped her escape. Miryam opened his eyes to the queen's cruelty, prompting him to break his engagement, ally his armies with the humans, and spend three years searching for her.
Drakon and Miryam are mates and married after Mor brought Miryam to him following Clythia's death.
Jurian's hostility toward Drakon is intensely personal and rooted in Miryam's choice to leave Jurian for the prince. Jurian seeks to draw the couple out of hiding and make Miryam regret that choice.
During the battle against Hybern, Drakon and Jurian's old hostility erupts into a direct confrontation.
Drakon shares an easy familiarity with Rhys, while Miryam is displeased that Rhys neglected to visit them for centuries. Drakon's hatred of Jurian persists after the war, and only Mor's intervention prevents the couple from killing him.
Drakon and Miryam have children together; Miryam gave birth to them despite having no wings of her own.
Abilities and Skills
Drakon can relay orders mentally to his legion from a distance and coordinate its deployment during battle.
Possessions
Drakon and Miryam keep the Cauldron concealed in Cretea. Rhys trusts them to guard its location, though neither can control the artifact if its power awakens.
Important Events
Drakon's legion joined Miryam and Mor in returning to the Black Land to free the enslaved people left there.
After Miryam was fatally wounded in the War's last sea battle, Drakon brought her to Cretea and used a Cauldron-made object to resurrect her and make her immortal.
During Miryam's flight across the desert, Drakon's aerial legion covered the escape while his Seraphim forces divided the sea to open a route for her people.
Rumors of Hybern's war and the renewed hunt for Miryam bring Drakon out of seclusion at the head of the Seraphim host. He immediately commits his forces to the allied battle.
After Hybern's defeat, Drakon and Miryam agree to conceal the Cauldron in Cretea and secretly carry it away aboard one of their ships. They also offer their shared history as evidence that humans and faeries can fight and live together.
Rhys consults Drakon and Miryam in search of a way to save Feyre during the birth of her winged child. Their experience provides no solution because Seraphim physiology does not offer a workable parallel for Feyre's condition.
