Personality and Behavior
During Fourth Wing's Iron Squad celebration, Baylor shouts the loudest with Flame Section and shoulder-bumps Aaric into joining the cheer.
When the first-years come to help, Baylor challenges Garrick by saying they are the actual Iron Squad and should be allowed to contribute.
During the Suniva analysis in Battle Brief, Baylor asks whether a powerful fire wielder stationed with Southern Wing could have controlled the flames.
Relationships
Baylor belongs to Flame Section's surviving first-year group, with his survival reported alongside Avalynn's and Lynx's as good news for the cohort.
Baylor helps protect the flier first-years during the First Wing crisis. He warns Violet's group that Beinhaven has seized a Tail Section flier, leads them through the courtyard, helps Rhiannon pull Kai back when Kai tries to accept the forced challenge, and later covers Kai's back with Lynx as the first-years enter Battle Brief.

Baylor manifests farsight. Violet immediately connects the signet to Liam, making the ability personally resonant as well as useful.
Baylor is one of the stronger students in Trissa's rune class, ranking close behind Cat, Quinn, Imogen, Sloane, and Maren in the integrated training group.
