Amari

Only showing what’s been revealed up to your current progress. Future events, identities, and relationships are hidden.

Overview

Amari is a figure of worship invoked in thanks and associated with a temple in Aretia, whose distinctive columns make it a recognizable city landmark.

Book I · Ch. 39

Worship of Amari includes offerings and hopes for divine protection; Maren believes Amari will watch over her little brothers in Aretia. Violet also recalls that, before her father died, Amari’s temple was her preferred place for her limited worship time.

Book III · Ch. 16

Violet identifies the old continental name Amaralys as likely connected to Amari, noting that other isles elevate a single god while Navarre and Poromiel use the neutral name the Continent after the Great War.

Book III · Ch. 35

Appearance

Statues of Amari are usually carved with cherubs at their feet, giving the deity a recognizable association with devotional statuary.
