Braevick

Only showing what’s been revealed up to your current progress. Future events, identities, and relationships are hidden.

Overview

Braevick is one of Poromiel’s two provinces east of Navarre, with the Esben Mountains forming the natural border in that direction.

Book I · Ch. 2

Braevick lies on the expanding venin front as the advance from the Barrens pushes across the Dunness River and northwest toward Navarre.

Book II · Ch. 2

By the later border reports, most of Braevick is under heavy threat, Zolya has fallen, and Suniva still stands as the kingdom’s seat of power in northern Braevick.

Book III · Ch. 13

Important Events

An attack discussed in Battle Brief involves a drift of Braevi gryphons and riders crossing from Braevick into Navarrian territory near the Esben border.

Book I · Ch. 5

Aretia’s truth map shows the venin advance spreading into Braevick from the Barrens over the Dunness River, with orange flags near Zolya and the movement pushing northwest toward Navarre.

Book II · Ch. 2

A leaflet describes the battle at Zolya as ending in Poromish defeat, giving Braevick a reported catastrophic city-scale loss within its own province.

Book II · Ch. 25

Later Battle Brief maps show most of Braevick saturated with red flags, especially along the Dunness River, while Zolya has already fallen and Suniva still stands.

Book III · Ch. 13

As the venin movement shifts southwest, some formerly red flags in Braevick turn gray and the red retreats from the province’s north.

Book III · Ch. 28

Location and Access

Braevick sits across Navarre’s eastern border in Poromiel. The village of Chakir lies in the province near the Esben Mountains, close enough to the border for Braevi gryphons and riders to cross into Navarrian territory from that region.

Book I · Ch. 5

On an up-to-date strategic map, Braevick appears southeast of Navarre among the active border zones and nearby fort placements.

Book I · Ch. 25

Samara lies where Braevick and Krovla meet, making Braevick part of the provincial border geography anchoring Navarre’s easternmost Southern Wing outpost.

Book II · Ch. 6

Keldavi is another Navarrian position along the Braevick border, close enough to be considered a likely target after it nearly falls the previous week and as fliers may be recognizing weaknesses in Navarre’s defenses.

Book II · Ch. 26

Layout and Features

Zolya is the third-largest city in Braevick Province.

Book II · Ch. 25

The Dunness River is a key feature on Braevick’s war map, with the heaviest reported pressure concentrated along it. Suniva stands in northern Braevick and serves as the kingdom’s seat of power.

Book III · Ch. 13

Function and Rules

Braevick functions in Navarre’s official Battle Brief reports as one of the named Poromish border provinces used to locate attacks along the Navarre-Poromiel frontier.

Book II · Ch. 9

The Braevick border is far enough from Aretia’s cliffs that riders stationed there cannot return in time during the cliff emergency, even after bonded pairs are recalled from the lines across Poromiel.

Book II · Ch. 56

Braevick’s provincial heraldry is present among the sashes outside the Senarium talks at Basgiath, placing the province’s interests among the Poromish and border delegations involved in the negotiations.

Book III · Ch. 3

Residents and Affiliations

Braevi gryphons and their riders are associated with Braevick and operate from the province’s border region.

Book I · Ch. 5

Braevick is the home province of General Fenella’s gryphon fleet, making the province one of the named Poromish homes of organized gryphon forces.
